MISANTHROPIC
today has been one of those inevitable days when i feel i must snarl a warning at anyone who comes close and on such inevitable days it must be splendid to return to quiet, straightforward spaces which don’t irk your mind with more exercises in futility.

ROOM TO BREATHE

this is becoming quite the decorating cliché like black-white pictures in identical frames, the GARLAND LIGHT and chartreuse accents (pardon me) but i am irresistibly attracted to spartan, whitewashed goodness. i cannot function within clutter, however well it’s been organised, which might explain my constant underproductivity and herein my quest to transform my furniture white/cream from the varying shades of bastard brown they are right now. everything must be austere and unobstrusive over making some sort of style statement. if i learn to stay clean for more than an hour at a time i will get several woolly rugs from ikea too! state of room = state of mind.
